From AP, via Crain's:
News Corp. said Wednesday that David Haslingden, who has been president and chief operating officer of Fox Networks Group since January 2011, is stepping down at the end of the year.
The media company controlled by Rupert Murdoch said Mr. Haslingden is going to return to his native Australia to spend more time with his family.
...
A replacement was not immediately named.

Fox News Channel is one of the channels under Haslingden's purview. So what does Haslingden know, and when did he know it?
You may remember that Rebekah Brooks' personal assistant in the UK, Cheryl Carter, tried to flee to Australia before Scotland Yard prevented her departure:

She has since been criminally charged in the UK for aiding in a coverup.
This latest could be a sign that the scandal is indeed jumping the pond. Cheers.
