There will be a HUGE free clinic at the Los Angeles Sports Arena this week.
Services will include medical, dental and vision for residents from all over Southern California.
Hosted by LA-based nonprofit Care Harbor, it will take place from Thursday Sept. 27 to Sunday, Sept. 30. Hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Patients must have a wristband. Care Harbor will hand out wristbands on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Sports Arena on Monday starting at 1 p.m. The parking lot opens at 7 a.m. (Warning-- it's likely to be HOT this week, so bring an umbrella, water, and wear sunscreen.)
You can choose which day to attend. The wristbands are not transferable.
If the patient is a child, the wristband will be given to the parent, who must bring the child to the clinic.
The clinic also connects patients with follow-up care in the community.
Care Harbor is looking for volunteers, both general and medical, to participate in the clinic. More info here.
