One of the things that has crossed my path this week is how Republicans have no problem joining forces with Libertarians to defeat the Liberal Menace, but Democrats seems to have a problem teaming up with the Greens for various reasons. What yr. humble blogger will attempt to do in the next few weeks (or days, as scheduling and such permits) if find out why this is, and ask some more knowledgeable people why this is so.
So what do I think is the problem? Well, I may not know, but I have an idea which I will share with you over the next few entries. For now, here's a solution that might be interesting to see, and I am curious to hear what the Peanut Gallery thinks.
Greens and Democrats would do a lot better if they got together more often. If the Republicans can do it with the Libertarians, why can't Greens and Democrats?
For that matter, the Greens would do a lot better if they fielded more candidates across the country in local and state elections rather than trying for what is a failed campaign to win the Presidency which they have about as much chance of winning as I am of being The Pope.
Just some illumination. What are your thoughts?
