If they Lie about the small stuff, well don't expect them to tell you the truth about the stuff that really matters ...

On Friday, August 31, 2012, vice president candidate Paul Ryan issued a corrective statement about his marathon personal best time according to the LA Times online.
Ryan last week told radio host Hugh Hewitt that he had run a marathon ”Under three [hours], high twos. I had a two hour and fifty-something."

When Runner’s World magazine expressed some skepticism about the accomplishment, the Ryan campaign conceded he had given the wrong information. He ran a single marathon, the 1990 Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota. That race lists Ryan’s finish as 4 hours, 1 minute and 25 seconds. That’s more than an hour slower than Ryan had claimed.

If you have ever run a long-distance race, where the pain is straining your every nerve; when the miles are counting down as slowly, as the time-dilated minutes;
-- you'd think you'd remember how long that agony lasted ... and not imagine you had finished the race with some sort of record-setting speed.
SOOOO, Why did Lying Ryan claim to run a sub-three-hour Marathon?
Because that's what Lying Liars do
-- it's the very hallmark of their personal character. The very thing they rely on in their public lives too.
And Romney-Ryan want us to just Trust Them ... and their ever-wary lying eyes. It's just a race afterall -- SO, what's the big deal?
