Here's Paul Ryan on the absence of the word "God" from the Democratic Party Platform:
“It’s not in keeping with our founding documents, our founding vision, but I guess you would have to ask the Obama administration why they purged all this language from their platform,” Ryan said on Fox News.
He said he found the omission "rather peculiar."

Know what I find peculiar? It's what Paul Ryan does NOT include at the end of his speeches. The standard phrase that everybody uses: "And may God bless the United States of America!"
What's with that?
Here he is when Romney introduced him on the battleship Wisconsin:

He ends with "Thank you. Thank you very much."
And here's his RNC keynote acceptance speech:

This time he at least manages "Thank you. And God bless you all."
And here he is at a smaller rally in Glen Allen, Virginia, on August 17:

"Thank you very, very much everybody. Thank you."
What a freakin' holier than thou hypocrite.
(BTW: The U.S. Constitution only mentions a higher power once, at the end, when it gives the date of signing using the phrase "in the year of our Lord.")
