My oh my! who could have foreseen this?
From the Boston Globe:
States with the most gun control laws have the fewest gun-related deaths, according to a study that suggests sheer quantity of measures might make a difference.

In the dozen or so states with the most gun control-related laws, far fewer people were shot to death or killed themselves with guns than in the states with the fewest laws, the study found. Overall, states with the most laws had a 42 percent lower gun death rate than states with the least number of laws.

The results were published online Wednesday in the medical journal JAMA Internal Medicine.
I know it ain't so! Wayne LaPierre clearly tells us that the opposite is true plus we know the Boston Globe is a liberal rag full of gun confiscationists.
Sure we have all of them piling on responsible gun owners like trying to use the victims of Newtown for political gain in order to take away my guns. They even stoop to finding actual survivors of mass shootings (even if they happened over 20 years ago) to scare up some sympathy and even try to equate their right to live to my right to bear arms without any meaningful regulation as was clearly spelled out by our forefathers. Don't any of these people understand that it is too soon to talk about any of those events?
Lets dig a little deeper, shall we?
More than 30,000 people nationwide die from guns every year nationwide, and there’s evidence that gun-related violent crime rates have increased since 2008, a journal editorial noted.
During the four-years studied, there were nearly 122,000 gun deaths, 60 percent of them suicides.
Aha! We got them! 60% of them are suicides - don't they know that suicides cannot be counted as violent gun deaths? I know! The NRA told me so! And when you take 60%, add accidents, add
teachers in firearm training, add idiots, add the square root of π, and add
dogs shooting guns you clearly realize that you end up at way more than 100% of gun deaths are caused by factors that have nothing to do with guns or gun owners.
We know the agenda here, but this part of the "article" on the "study" gives it all way:
He said his study suggests but doesn’t prove that gun laws — or something else — led to fewer gun deaths.
Exactly, correlation is not causation! It is not fair to compare real men as we have in Alaska, Kentucky, Louisiana and Oklahoma to the Democrat wimps that populate Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts! Of course they will have fewer gun deaths on those last four states because they are full of cowards that are too afraid to even hold a gun.
I am not alarmed; sure my constitutional rights are being attacked, but I know that the opposite of fear is spelled G-U-N!
