Subject: In consideration of the Keystone XL Pipeline
Dear Mr. President:
The State Department's report of the Keystone XL Pipeline is clearly the result of corporate influence while ignoring the will of the people and our stewardship of the environment.
The Keystone XL Pipeline will be a toxic spill waiting to happen--a spill that nobody knows how to clean up. (Ask the folks along the Kalamazoo River how they feel about the oil spill in their immediate environment.)
The Keystone XL Pipeline will be a visual blight across our country to the detriment of the many for the benefit of the few. And the fact that so many benefactors live outside of the United States only adds to the sense of injustice.
The Keystone XL Pipeline will unequivocally communicate to the world that global warming is not a serious concern of the United States; that wealthy corporations are entitled to their whims and desires while the "regular folk" deserve nothing; that the path to the future is a retreat to the past where the dirty, provably harmful technology from 125 years ago is the best we can do.
The Keystone XL Pipeline represents a decisive moment for you and you must reject this pipeline once and for all. Our people and the planet will be just fine without the pipeline...and the corporations will be fine, too.
Thank you for your consideration.

I thought I would share this in the event that others feel similarly and/or would like to take action themselves.
