Mitt Romney's top strategist thinks he knows how to stop Hillary Clinton
The party that has spent the last five years declaring Barack Obama to be lazy, racist, incompetent and quite possibly not even a real American,
has a plan to stop Hillary Clinton in 2016:
Stuart Stevens, the top strategist for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, declared to an audience of reporters at a breakfast last month that electing Hillary Rodham Clinton would be like going back in time. “She’s been around since the ’70s,” he said.
At a conservative conference earlier in the year, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader, ridiculed the 2016 Democratic field as “a rerun of ‘The Golden Girls,’ ” referring to Mrs. Clinton and Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., who is 70. [...]
“Perhaps in the Democratic primary and certainly in the general election, there’s going to be an argument that the time for a change of leadership has come,” said the Republican strategist Karl Rove. “The idea that we’re at the end of her generation and that it’s time for another to step forward is certainly going to be compelling.”
So the guys brought us John McCain and Mitt Romney, the guys who threw every coded attack in the playback in a failed effort to stop President Obama from becoming the first African-American president in American history ... these guys think they've figured out how to stop Hillary from becoming America's first female president: By calling her an old hag.
Bring. It. On.
