A reply to those who insist that Edward Snowden's character is the real problem.
1) Why does the government have the presumption of innocence? They're the ones who have created a massive, secret spying program. And then they say "we can't tell you about it...trust us, it's for your own good."
2) Defense attorney "attack the witness" strategies: How do these help one defend a government that employs many, many people like Snowden in the handling of our private data?
3) The Verizon court order Snowden revealed is real. Thanks to it, we know:
a) The FISA court judges, e.g. Roger Vinson who approved that order, are jokes.
b) Congress is also supposed to provide the oversight. James Clapper, head of the NSA lied to Congress. This vindicates what Senator Wyden has been saying.
c) At this point, there's no longer any reason to focus on Snowden's credibility. The government has shredded its own.
