If a man is walking alone; and a stalker is following him in his car for some time - say 15 to 20 min; and the walking man notices that he is being followed by someone who he would describe as being "creepy"; and the creepy stalker gets out of his car and pursues the walking man with a gun; and the walking man feels that he is in danger for his life; would the walking man have the justification to "stand HIS ground" and defend himself against the stalker?
Would the ethnicity (or color) of the walking man or the stalker make a difference, one way or another?
How about if we mix-in gender? If the creepy stalker with a gun had been a black man, and the walker been a white woman, would she be justified in fighting the man when confronted? Would she have been allowed to use her hands to defend herself? If she was using a concrete sidewalk in defending herself and standing her ground, would the creepy black man with a gun have been justified in shooting her dead in order to defend HIMself?
