Plunge below the orange puff to see what stories here on Daily Kos most made the rounds on the internet this past week, July 8 to July 14.
*Can't see my lovely tables? Tech is not my expertise, and I have no idea why some people see them and others do not. So I'm posting screenshots of them at the end. Remember, though, they're not clickable.
FACEBOOK:
If a cell's highlighted orange, it was written by a front pager.
A full 11 out of 15 of the top Daily Kos stories passed around Facebook were written by community members and not front pagers. I think that's the highest ratio I've seen yet—you are all champions.
Laura Clawson and her Walmart beat made the list three times this week!
Thanks to the power of email, Heavy Mettle's post from last week remained #1 this week.
REDDIT:
We had two significant Reddit hits this week by ukit and weatherdude, each bringing in over 40,000 pageviews, which is awesome. Hunter's the only front-pager on the list. And I don't know what magic David Harris Gershon has been practicing, but he's been all over every list for the past couple weeks. You da man, DHG.
TWITTER:
Interestingly, comics were the only front-paged material that topped the Twitter traffic this week.
And there you have it! Thanks to y'all for writing such diverse and engaging content and for sharing it in so many ways. If you haven't already, and you're into that kind of thing, find/follow/fan Daily Kos on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and/or Google Plus. And remember that sharing outside the Big Orange is just one more way to show love to your fellow writers and community members beyond tips and recs.
