Here is a simple question I have out there for a lot of people who are still defending the NSA and the surveillance culture it has created. I am was an Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Philadelphia activist, still meet with those folks regularly, and am involved with the anti-fracking movement in Pennsylvania. I don't see this issue as a "white privilege issue" as Kos (can't find the link to the comment he made about it and Glenn Greenwald and Snowden) Bob Cesca and others carrying water for the administration on this issue. I see the issue of total surveillance as something that will kill true progressive movements that challenge the power establishment and we have seen what this did to Occupy Wall Street and other Occupy groups with fusion centers. Who else believes the fact that with total surveillance, no social movements will thrive?
