Some of you may have seen my diary from a few days ago about the onset, two weeks ago today, of a strange weakness in my arms and legs, accompanied by pain and deterioration of fine motor skills.

My symptoms continue to worsen. Fortunately I have secured an appointment with a neurologist this coming Tuesday afternoon.
But imagine my shock to learn this evening that the unusually sour tasting and soupy Chobani yogurt I ate shortly before falling ill was contaminated by mold.
Just as an aside, here, but an important one: If you haven't read the diary and don't care to, I've already been to the ER, and to my regular doctor. It has led to bupkis. The ER doc quickly discharged me, saying that since my breathing wasn't affected my life wasn't in danger. Both the ER doc and my regular doc told me to see a neurologist. Without insurance that's a difficult thing, but as I say, I am seeing one at a well regarded facility this Tuesday.
I've heard, seen, and read several reports that say that some customers who ingested the tainted yogurt became "sick," or "ill." None that I've found so far go into any detail as to just in what way these people became sick. Nausea and diarrhea? Okay, I haven't had that.
My computer is very, very old, and I can't even get the Chobani website to load (I'm sure it's getting slammed.)
Could somebody with a faster computer find their customer service phone number and post it in the comments? I know I can't entirely trust the company to provide accurate information re: making their customers sick.
But I'd like to know just what these news reports mean by people becoming "sick" or "ill."
I definitely intend to mention this when I see the neurologist on Tuesday, if I can make it that long.
