Perhaps it was missed by me, but haven't seen anything about this today or yesterday.
Below is an article from Talkingpointsmemo about how Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal plans to eliminate all individual and corporate income taxes in Louisiana. His plan: to rely on sales taxes to make up the difference.

The article indicates that Jindal will work with state legislators to figure out how to do this.
Several things:
a) This indicates to me that Jindal is most definitely running for president in 2016. After all, shamelessly pandering to Republicans' selfishness and greed is a surefire way to...win Republican primaries.
b) Jindal is apparently going "all in" when it comes to the Republicans' ongoing class warfare of trying to redistribute the wealth...from the middle class and poor...to the filthy rich. Sales taxes are considered the most regressive of all taxes, since the poor and middle class need to pay a higher portion of their income on necessities...just to survive.
c) Jindal is apparently going after billionaires like the Koch brothers and others who would be absolutely delighted to help ensure that they...pay less taxes. Talk about shamelessly pandering to the filthy rich elites. Nothing would delight them more than to...not have to pay any income tax whatsoever...corporate or otherwise.
d) Jindal is going hard-right to ensure nobody will be to his right when it comes to taxes.
e) If Jindal succeeds...he will likely make elimination of income taxes his number one issue. And this issue is just perfect for demagoguing to Republican primary voters.
(And telling people he wants to eliminate their income taxes would probably have an appeal to a fair number of independent and other voters in a general election, as well).
