What I really like about the shutdown? I was listening to a liar, I mean a conservative radio host on Commute with Carlson, when I went for a cup of coffee a few minutes ago. He was complaining that a republican congress idiot wanted an exemption to the government closing the WW2 memorial because there were some veterans coming to see the memorial. Once again, they believe they are privliged. That rules dont apply to them. When a business shuts its doors, it over. You can no longer get the original 'Twinkie'. There is no 'Wonder Bread'. The same should be true when the government shuts down. YOU are on your own.
Its not that I want to stop the WW2 veterans from seeing the memorial that was built in the memory of their fallen fellow soldiers. It should be open and manned 24 hours a day. But I also think this shutdown should have never happened. And the fact that it happened is the result of a very small group of people who are racist and bigots. Two of the biggest reasons we were in WW2 in the first place. The Teabagging minority are racist. Not all who joined are racist but if they havent left by now, they are either morons or racists. Because it is clearly a group that wants THIS President to fail and take complete responsibility for the economic collapse in 2008 plus both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. It is clear that they refuse to tolerate a black man in their white house, unless he is serving them tea or shining their shoes!
