That
disaster of a poll for Republicans really is remarkable for showing how far and how fast Republicans have destroyed themselves. But the Obamacare part is what is astounding. Just looks
at the actual numbers [pdf]. They're still not great, but they're moving. A lot.
While the approval rating of Republicans has plummeted to just 24 percent, Obamacare has had a seven-percent jump in approval. Look where it happened:
All of that gain, all seven points, is among those who
strongly support the law. And look where were else there was a seven-point shift:
More people who support Obamacare support it strongly. And the undecideds are starting to decide. That could be because of the reports of the massive response to Obamacare in its first week of enrollments. That could be because they or someone they know has found out they'll get a pretty good deal on their new health insurance.
Or it could all be backlash against the Republican obsession about Obamacare that has been so insane, so extreme, that it's threatening destruction of the nation's economy. Whatever is behind it, never mind. Thanks Ted Cruz & Co! You're doing a great job selling Obamacare!
