Let's starve children. That'll learn em.
Starving children is the answer, it will teach them to not be born to poor people, or something.
Or so says Fox News host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who seem to think "Suffer the little children" should be more like "Suffer, the little children"
Fox News' Elisabeth Hasselbeck Promotes Attack On Program Expanding Access To School Meals.
On Fox & Friends, co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck provided a platform for guest Joy Pullman of the Heartland Institute to attack the new school meal pilot program in Florida. Pullman ignored the nutritional benefits the program brings to areas of high poverty, instead falsely claiming that expanding access to free meals in Florida will increase childhood obesity and harm low-income families:

Guess where most of those poor kids live? Red States, of course! A recent study put out by
SouthernEducation.org suggests that a vast majority of the children living in poverty come from, you guessed it, the South.
Every damn idea the GOP/Fox comes up with is about making poor people suffer. It's not "shared sacrifice", it's sadism, heartless, brainless sadism.
Republicans, who think taxing the rich is unthinkable but starving poor children seems perfectly fine.
Coddle the rich and to hell with everyone else. And all while some smirking jackal at Fox News waxes idiotic about how the underpaid should suffer and the overpaid aren't being sufficiently coddled enough.
For the wealthiest 1% being rich isn't good enough, they have to make poor people more miserable than they already are to be truly happy.
It's like fixing the economy by stealing lunch money from little kids. That will teach them to have parents who can't afford lunch money.
So we show the world we are serious about our debt by not paying our bills, we teach kids to not be so poor by starving them and we teach the world to not to take America seriously by voting for Republicans . . .
more below the fold
I am sick and tired of the smug, smirking jackals on the right. Is it cruel? Is it stupid? Is it heartless? It must be a Republican.
So you stick to your strategy of trolling Obamacare for the next year and a half while being as cruel as possible to everyone who isn't a multi-millionaire or a business owner, Republicans, you do that, don't change a thing. Stick to your plan of stealing lunch money from poor kids to fix the deficit we created with war spending and tax cuts for the rich. Some said that demographics would kill the GOP in the next decade or so. One would hope that being a party of heartless, mindless assholes would speed up that process.
