My quest to find all the right wing craziness in America continues. While I'm sure I'll fail to find all of it because of filibuster reform, here's what I found for Thursday, November 21, 2013.
Florida Gov. Rick Scott showed up at the party to celebrate Orlando acquiring an MLS Soccer franchise. Fans booed when he took the stage. Apparently, Florida soccer fans don't like all the damage he has done to the state.
Hypocrite Rep. Trey Radel (voted for the poor to pee in cups to get aid) is heading off to rehab.
CREW accuses Americans for Tax Reform and it's President, Grover Norquist, of lying to the IRS about how much they spent on advertising against Democratic candidates. Nonprofits cannot spend more than half of their budget on politics and CREW accuses ATR of passing this threshold.
Methodist Pastor has 30 days to renounce his gay son or he will be defrocked. His crime? He married his son to his partner recently.
Pat Robertson talked. About Obamcare. It was crazy.
Fox News Commentator: It's GOP patriotic duty to avoid fixing Obamacare.
Filibuster reform insanity below the fold (and plenty more, too) ...
Republican Attorney General of Utah is expected to resign due to corruption.
One and only one graphic is needed to explain why Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid finally after all this time used the "nuclear options".
Sen. Mitch McConnell lied through his teeth in the run up to the "nuclear options" vote: "Senate Republicans have been very fair to Obama."
The primary challenger to Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) says that he failed as a leader because Reid used the "nuclear options" to stop the unprecedented filibustering of Obama nominees. What's particularly kooky about Matt Bevin's statement vilifying McConnell is that Bevin would do the exact same thing except he'd be more 'teabaggy' (or something) about it.
Sen. Rand "Aqua Buddha" Paul (R-KY) called Reid "a Big Bully" for ending the Republicans endless filibustering of everything.
Rush Limbaugh says that Obama happy now because he "gets to play dictator with his judicial nominees."
CNN (the top name in failed journalism) give air time to a bunch of Republican myths about filibuster reform.
RNC Chair Reince Priebus said that the GOP will "will tattoo Obamacare on each of [Democratic candidates] foreheads." Funny, I thought they were going to repeal it, not tattoo it.
Fox News Commentator: men on Social Security disability are "modern day eunuchs."
Catholic Bishop performed an exorcism on Illinois today. He had to do it because of marriage equality. And he had armed police officers present just in case Beelzebub appeared. Or something.
North Caroline Gov. Pat McCrory (R) breaks out in a bad case of stupidity in explaining his vote suppression: "we didn't shorten early voting, we compacted the calendar."
