This is a short one but a good one here. I ran into the above title in an October 28th, 2013 piece on the great Bill Mitchell's blog...

The title is a quote from a famous British Labor politician named Tony Benn. It's so perfect I felt compelled to share. Granted, Tony is out of paradigm with respect to Sovereign currency issuing nations, but he is extremely effective at making his deeper point. The idea is that if we can "afford" to put everyone to work to kill Germans how backwards is it that the idea of putting everyone to work for peaceful purpose is somehow taboo? Watch this excellent short clip with Tony Benn being interviewed by Michael Moore about Britain's National Health Service for "Sicko". But more importantly, ask yourself why we can never run out of money to kill other humans but supposedly we're too broke to help our fellow humans? Enjoy!
