Texas State District Judge Jean Boyd recently sentenced 16 year old, repeat offender, Ethan Couch to probation for killing 4 people, maiming a fifth, and paralyzing a sixth after stealing beer, taking Valium, and driving into the crowd of innocent people with a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit for an adult. His full size truck hit the victims at over 50kmh over the speed limit while they were trying to help a stranded motorist.
The judge, in a statement to Fort Worth's WFFA-TV, mentioned that she would not be seeking reappointment to the bench after her term expires when questioned about the unavoidable public reaction to her sentence. She stated: " There was nothing she could do to lessen the families' pain and that she hoped Couch could become a contributing member of society."
The affluence of the Couch family, estimated in the millions, has served to extricate the 16 year old, admitted alcoholic, and drug addict from previous legal entanglements including driving, and drug offenses. It's reported by The Huffington Post that the family will be entering the probationer into a $450,000 dollar a year treatment center in California in the coming weeks. To date, no apology has issued from the Couch family, or the perpetrator.
It's hard, in these times of such blatant, egregious abuse of our country to keep even a small flicker of hope for a government that's someday worthy of our sacrifices again. The very truth that used to be the foundation of our society is consumed by the elite, and regurgitated back to us as a lie to protect their unethically amassed wealth, and further enslave the rightful owners of this land.
So, it's my opinion that Texas State District Judge Jean Boyd is guilty of accessory to four counts of homicide, after the fact. Harboring a fugitive by releasing him. Gross negligence as a jurist, willful, and premeditated violation of the sacred trust enshrined in the responsibility of our judges. A responsibility sworn to upon oath of office when she accepted the bench.
