A brief diary to share GREAT news! The CO House has just passed four bills limiting guns.
As reported several places, including the Denver Post, after a long day of debate on Friday, the CO House just moved these on to the Senate.
First, background checks on private sales and transfers of firearms (36-29).
Second, limiting gun magazines to 15 rounds (34-31).
Third, requiring gun buyers to pay for their own background checks ($5-12). This is actually the reinstatement of an extremely profitable program begun in 1994 (33-32).
And fourth, no concealed weapons on college campuses (34-31).
Now they go to the Democratically controlled Senate for votes.

I can guarantee you at least one of these bills wouldn't have passed if we hadn't just changed out our TP Rep J Paul Brown for a smart attorney, Mike McLachlan. Thank you Mike and others!
