News reports indicate that the future site of Obama's Presidential Library has been narrowed to either Illinois or Hawai'i. Makes it a no-brainer. Don't locate it in Hawai'i.
If Obama is serious about his legacy and wanting future generations to understand him, his accomplishments and his dreams, he will locate his Presidential Library at a location where much of America can actually visit it - in Illinois. Only a very tiny percentage of Americans EVER in their entire lifetimes make it to the far off Pacific Ocean state of Hawai'i. The poor cannot afford to travel to Hawai'i. Illinois can be reached by car - and future families will be able to bring their kids there on vacations, to teach them and inspire them to become so much more in life.
If Obama locates his Library in Hawai'i, hardly anyone will ever see it. That's a fact.
