Yeah, I know that this is old news, but I figured I'd add my two cents.
Remember when Rick Perry (R, N*ggerhead Ranch) tried to lure businesses from California to Texas? That really burned my ass. Of course, his idiotic publicity stunt didn't work, but it did manage to piss me off, personally and probably did the same for almost everyone else in the USA's most populous state.
This was one of the dumbest moves I've seen a Republican do since the Bush administration decided that the best way to stimulate the economy and stave off a near catastrophic recession was to give every tax payer $300. Remember that?
My closing arguments below the orange hoopty-do...
Perry wanted to take jobs away from Americans in California and give them to Americans in Texas? What a fucking patriot. Love of country right there. Hey Rick, you want to move jobs out of somewhere and put them in Texas? Go to China! Get some of those jobs back! Asshole.
But I think that in political terms, Perry exposed his flank on the National stage. This dumb-ass move will be so easy for Democrats to demagog that it is going to sink him if he ever tries to run for anything outside of Texas.
Obviously, I would never vote for him because a) he's a complete asshole and b) I'm not jacked up on pain killers. But more broadly, I think that his failed exploit cost him any future chance at higher office. I doubt even Texans would put a guy like that in the senate.
Fuck you, Rick!
Oh, and Texas Kossacks- you guys have my heart-felt sympathy. What a jackass of a governor. Seriously.
