Hello and welcome to the Wednesday edition of Street Prophets.
Today some photos of a few critters that my family and I live in harmony with. They were here before us and we hope that they will continue to inhabit Mother Earth long after we are gone.
This photo is of the wild Turkey who has been roosting in one of our trees since last Fall. I call her Henny. She is very sweet as she wonders the area and makes a soft chirping noise.
Welcome to the Wednesday Coffee Hour here on Street Prophets. This is an open thread where we can talk about what’s going on in our worlds.
Everyone is welcome to discuss all topics of conversation and to post photos.
Pull up a seat and share!

All pictures and comments welcome!
Share if you got'em and they can be of any topic. ;D
One of many Spotted Towhees also known as the Oregon Towhees that live in the brush along the water way. They are one of my favorite birds here.
This shy little beauty is a mystery to me and I would love some help identifying him/her.
Update: myadestes has identified this little cutie: It is a dark eyed junco.
Thank you myadestes!
This is Tatty the Chipmunk. She lives in a tree along the water way too. I named her Tatty because her ears are tattered. She is fearless as she chases the birds away from the feeders.
If you look closely you will see Tatty's tongue. She is the only critter who actually climbs into the bird feed. ;)
Action shots!
She appears to look right at me as if to say "Watch this!"
On another trip to the feeder:
A Stellar Blue Jay awaiting his turn at the feeder.
Two female Hooded Merganser Ducks bathing in the sun.
Afraid these photos don't do justice to the different colored feathers. The warm tawny-cinnamon tones on the head are really beautiful.
This is "Kitty" my neighbor's pootie. As you can see Kitty makes himself at home wherever he goes. :)
*Update of kossack Lute the Norwegian: Feeling better with more energy. Doctors say he is doing great! He is looking forward to our Epic Glacier National Park Meetup.
*Has anyone seen or heard from Oregon Gal lately?
I have been MIA, taking care of Lute and more. How are you?
What is happening with you? I have missed you all very much. Group hug!
