Here's my no-sweat, short & sweet NN13 primer for folks.
First, for attendees - please don't miss these:
- If you are disabled or if you or friends/loved ones need a Power Scooter or Chair, click the link to read more or send a kosmail to TheFatLadySings.
- American Indian Caucus (goes to the Facebook-based event page)
- Panel: Native Vote - Why Winning Indian Country Matters To You
You can find a little more info about the above items at the links or at
my previous annotated version.
If you CAN'T attend, then here's how you can follow the action from home (h/t Mary Rickles of Netroots Nation, from her recent email):
If you can’t make it to Netroots Nation this year, there are a number of ways you can follow the action at home.
STREAMING
We’re streaming all of our keynote sessions and several of our panel rooms live each day during the convention. Our streaming is generously sponsored by Progressives United this year. You’ll find these streams on our website and on the sites of many of our progressive media partners.
Click here to view the schedules of sessions that will be streamed and to watch online.
KEYNOTE RECAPS
We'll be updating keynote pages with tweets, video and photos from the sessions as they happen.
TWITTER
Each year Netroots Nation has a strong presence on Twitter. Many sessions take live feedback from the Twitter stream; speakers often post presentations and video there; and you can generally stay up to date on all the action. Follow Netroots Nation and #NN13. You can also get some great behind the scenes insights by following NN staffers @ravenb, @nolan and @merickles.
BLOG
We’ll be updating our website frequently with clips, previews and highlights, significant media coverage, photos and more, so check back often.
Even if you can't make it to San Jose, you can still catch all the action as we celebrate our eigth annual convention.

Netroots for the Troops could use more volunteers.
However you participate - directly, by attending, or indirectly - be careful out there.
