Oh dear, this is simply priceless
A new report released by the College Republican National Committee has been making waves this week for its stern warning that the GOP’s appeal is foundering among young voters
OK
so what were they to do?
1. Winning young people and minority voters goes hand in hand
2. Republicans who oppose gay marriage need to be careful how they discuss it—if at all
3. Republicans should focus more on a positive message and move away from being 'The Party of No'
4. The debate over Obamacare is a good example of how Republicans can improve positive messaging
5. Candidates must be in touch with issues young people care about, including pop culture
Yep, been telling them this since the lord knows when.
So how do they put this into action?
But it turns out the College Republican National Committee is sponsoring the “Road to the Majority Conference,” hosted by Ralph Reed’s far-right Faith & Freedom Coalition, along with other anti-gay groups like Concerned Women for America, the Manhattan Declaration, the American Civil Rights Union and televangelist Pat Robertson’s Regent University.
Winning hearts and minds!
Giving a lifetime achievement to Pat "God's Wrath" Robertson.
Sponsoring every extreme misogynist, bigot and talibangelical they can get their hands on all at one big "love" in.
Did they even read what they wrote in their summary of the GOPs problems, I bet they tried the myriad monkey and keyboards trick, or, they really have been sniffing glue.
When you feel cold clammy fingers around your throat, you have just been subjected to, Republican outreach.
