I supported you when you first announced you would be running this year Mayor of NYC. You were a breath of fresh air in the Campaign. I knew I would never support Christine Quinn because it would be like voting for a 4th Bloomberg term and, to be honest with you, it was a toss up between Bill Thompson and Sal Albernese followed by Bill DeBlasio and then John Liu. Like others, and remembering your 2005 run, I felt that you made a mistake and you realized that, was getting help and deserved a 2nd chance. After your announcement last week I can no longer do that.
It is clear to all of us that have heard from you in the past week, that you need serious help for your behavior. Instead of running for Mayor, using up all the oxygen that could help other candidates, you are like a child having a temper tandrum insisting that you will continue to run for Mayor. This strikes me as egotistical, childish and defeating for the Democratic Party. You're only thinking of yourself and your ego and not this City (let alone your wife and son).
You are now in 4th place and losing more supporters everyday. Heck, even your Campaign Manager has resigned and you have a skelaton support staff. I'm sure contributions to your campaign are very few and far between so why not do everyone a favor and just end your campaign? More below the orange design
You no longer stand any chance of winning, and are doing further harm to yourself. Look at how Eliot Spitzer has handled his problem. He stayed away from politics for 5 years, and, except for when he announced his run for Controller, for the most part the subject of his hiring prostitutes hasn't been a daily factor. If by some stange chance you were to get elected (and we both know this is not going to happen) you'll be judged everyday and let one text after the election be discovered, people will be calling for your resignation. Do you want that? Be honest, look in the mirror and tell me if that's what you want. Do you want your son to grown up knowing what a pervert his father was? Think of him and think of Huma. If you really love them you'll put them ahead of yourself and end this three ring circus, because that's what your campaign has become.
