...it is true and you can help.
"um...excuse me...can Joan come out and play?"
Well it is not actually that type of unhinged.
It's more like this...
...or this.
Recently Joan McCarter posted the weekly "Ask me anything about Daily Kos" diary in which us kossacks can ask questions of the staff. It did not go as planned. Not only did she avoid answering questions...
If there were a single piece of legislation that you would like to see passed (assuming the votes to do it—haha), what would it be?

Man
You come up with the most difficult questions of all. Like pie in the sky legislation? Or something that could really happen. Or something that is actually before the Congress now?
by Joan McCarter on Fri May 31, 2013 at 12:49:19 PM PDT
...she delayed...
Something that could really happen if we had the votes and no filibuster. Just about any worthwhile legislation is a no-go right now.

Still thinking.....

...and delayed...
I'd like to know your answer to the question asked by Meteor Blades too.

I'm still thinking!

In reply to other questions she tried to blame others...
Why did the "Total Comment Ratings" stop counting? I think at the start of DK4.

I do not know. I'll ask elfling.

...or this dodge...
who has authority to post links to DK diaries at DK FB? Are all subjects eligible for such postings? Is any criteria used to pick what diaries are posted at DK FB?
thanks.

Good quesion. That's one for Jen, aka Scout. Hopefully she'll pop in.

She then proceeds to turn the tables by asking us a question...
"Looking for my twin...born around 1911"
Before we get going though, I have a completely random question for you, or any of you who like to antique or salvage shop. Have you ever seen hinges like this? They're old, like from 1911. They're on my kitchen cabinets, and someday I'll be adding more cabinets, and it'd be kind of fun to have the same hinges on the new ones. But I can't find them anywhere. Someone in this community always has the answer to just about any question, so I figured I'd crowd-source this one.
I was lucky to meet Joan at Netroots Nation a couple weeks ago and was actually a little surprised when she came up and said, “Hey, you’re Glen The Plumber. I’m Joan…McCarter.” Like I wouldn’t recognize her. “You’re with the Saturday Morning Home Repair Crew. That is my favorite place on Daily Kos!” (Not intended to be a factual quote, sometimes I just make stuff up). So to show our appreciation of her recognition of our little group, I thought we might help her find the hinges she’s been looking for.
For a silly plumber the whole Netroots experience was very exciting and a little overwhelming - so many great panels and trainings to attend. But meeting and interacting with other like-minded activists was the best part. One highlight for me was listening in on the conversation between Daily Kos Labor column’s featured writer Mark E Andersen and editor Laura Clawson.
