First National Bank of Ohio is guilty of theft. It's really all the intro needed.
First National Bank, is guilty of theft. They mistakenly entered the wrong house, removed all the belongings, changed the locks, and closed the house back up. Leaving a horrible surprise for Ms. Barnett upon her return from vacation.
They were supposed to go to the house across the street.
When she presented the error to the bank, they snubbed her, and basically laughed her off. Acting as if the mistake was her fault and her problem. They have been rude, and disrespectful. They are accountable for their actions and mistakes. Just as any normal person in this country. If you or I, or any other person were to walk into someone's house, ran-sack it, take everything, change the locks and walk away. WE would be arrested for breaking and entering, and theft, at the very least.
I have started a petition asking the bank to pay her the $18,000.00 they owe her for her possessions, that the bank stole, and to give her a formal apology. It is the LEAST that the bank could do.
I am also urging those people in Ohio who have First National Bank as their bank account holder to close their accounts and boycott the bank as a result of their actions and callous towards Ms. Barnett. I am also urging the people signing the petition to call First National Bank and make it known vocally, of their disgust the banks actions.
Please sign the petition, here is the link, and spread the word. Ms. Barnett needs our help. http://petitions.moveon.org/...
