I got this in my email today, and thought it worth sharing. The premise is simple. Why do we name devastating storms for people who never did anything to hurt anyone? Instead, imagine if we named them after some of the people who have blocked action to deal with climate change?
And why limit it to politicians? CEOs of oil and coal companies could come next, then the big lobbying firms and their executives. The list is more than enough to cover several hurricane seasons, and by then there would be new names, sadly enough.
