Another war looming to get started based upon a media report, that has yet to be substantiated!
If the Assad regime used chemical weapons against its citizens it would be reprehensible. As of yet, we do not know if this has actually taken place.
I stand firmly against the practice of killing people to make your position more sound, but how many of our bravest need to be placed into danger, and how much more into debt must we fall as a country in order to puff out our chests and stand tall as the military savior of the world!?
We pay the price, they complain about our interference; and so it goes.
President Obama is right in saying that this sort of action is "unacceptable", I hope however, that he will not move too quickly to military actions in response at this time.
Now is when a patient and well though-out plan is necessary to choose the best possible course to take. A knee-jerk reaction in a fit of "indignant outrage" is not the way.
The world should condemn this possible event with strong and unwavering sanctions from all of the UN partners and the world in general, and not another US-led combat action!
Like it or not, we don't need this.
I feel outraged if this happened but I feel that this region is not newly-unstable, and nothing we do in response to something that may have happened will change their attitudes about our meddling into their affairs!
Stand in protest, remove our money, and the rest of the worlds, but a military strike led by the United States, is not the way!
