As diary upon diary is written to indoctrinate the masses and fill them with internet outrage about the evil attributes of Republicans and even the USA itself, there is NOTHING in at this site what took just place in Turkey.

John Stuart is quoted to have said: He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that.
Who knew he was speaking about, among others, the "reality based community" that not only believes it has the all the answers, and is more moral, but that alternative views are proffered for malicious purposes.
It's the Mutz paradox at work. Less educated and politically involved citizens tend to be more tolerant and aware of reasons for dissent when they hear from others who disagree, yet are less likely to act politically than the fewer, generally more educated politcal activists who actually encounter opposing positions far less often. These activists often have the sort of homogenous social networks that undermine what deliberative theorists routinely advocate. In other words, He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that.

The fact is that, to really become informed, this is not the place. But if one wants to reinforce bias, it is.
UPDATE: I take back what I said, kind of. There was one mention buried in a diary entitled, "The Evening Blues - 8-5-13." Kudos to the diarist.
