If you could name a movie that you think people have not seen enough of, that if more people saw they would love it, what would it be? For me... far and away it is "The Kentucky Fried Movie" directed by John Landis, written by the Zucker brothers of Airplane and Police Squad fame.
If you like the comedy in those two flicks you will love TKFM. It was their first real attempt at humor and has several short skits and some longer ones in it. I cannot do it justice by naming them all, but it has everything from "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble" to "Zinc Oxide and You" to "A Fistful of Yen"
"A Fistful of Yen" is by far the longest and my favorite and is a send-up on martial arts film of the 70s... it combines a lot of....well, you just have to see it to appreciate it.
I've included a trailer for the whole movie, and then two clips from "A Fistful of Yen"
So, what about you? What is the one movie you're always telling people to see?
