The
first 2016 presidential primary vote won't be cast for another
22+ months, but some people (let's call them "
Kos") would have you believe that
Hillary Clinton has already
won the Democratic
nomination—and the
general election!
Although recent polling seems to lend this theory an air of credibility, those who subscribe to it overlook some important facts.
First and foremost is Benghazi; like l'affaire Lewinsky, this stain on her record has yet to be fully examined.
Next up is what I call the "Y Factor"—which is to say, Hillary's lack of a Y chromosome.
There is anecdotal evidence to suggest that America won't be ready for a president with lady parts by 2016.
Thanks, Obama!
And last, but certainly not least, is the prospective GOP field.
This is not the same clown car as 2012; their talent pool now includes rising stars (Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio), seasoned pros (Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Romney/Ryan), powerful governors (Chris Christie, Scott.Walker@Wisconsin.Gov), token blacks (Dr. Ben Carson, Allen West), and Bobby Jindal—to say nothing of Donald Trump and Sarah Palin.
Bottom line: Let's not count our chickens before they hatch.

Former Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX) reminded us who America's real Founding Father is.
DeLay said that Americans have forgotten "that God created this nation [and] that He wrote the Constitution, that it's based on biblical principles," but he is also optimistic that the tide is beginning to shift, noting that when he was in Congress, he sealed off the rotunda in the Capitol building so that leaders from Congress could come together for three hours to get on their knees and seek the face of God.

Bristol Palin found inspiration of her own in God's words.
"Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth." Proverbs 10:4
I came across this Scripture and wanted to pass it along. I love it because it reminds me of my parents and the work ethic they instilled in all of us kids. If you want something, you go out and work for it.
No one owes you anything, and I'm embarrassed to be in a generation that doesn't have that mindset.
Honest, hard work, is the only way to do it right. Don't rely on anyone to provide for you.
The world doesn't owe you anything!

Professional wordsmith Peggy Noonan railed against our decadent elites.
And it is all about the behavior of our elites, our upper classes, which we define now in a practical sense as those who are successful, affluent and powerful. This group not only includes but is almost limited to our political class, Wall Street, and the media, from Hollywood to the news divisions.
They're all kind of running America.
They all seem increasingly decadent.
The stupid, it burns.
