The Progressive Ticket is a crowdsourced list of political candidates who the Dailykos Community at large support for their respective elections. The candidates will be chosen largely from community-wide debate and consensus. The goal is to have a Progressive option for every election in November, write-in or otherwise.
Notice a blank in the Ticket that should be filled, or a name that should be erased, or an election you want to see discussed in a future forum? Let us know in the comments.

Today's vote is for who you, the Dailykos community, think should represent the Democratic Party in the Pennsylvania Gubernatorial election.
In the forum on the topic, I mentioned why I think this type of discussion is necessary. In general, I see it as a way for Progressives to engage and influence who ultimately represents us in our government. It's not about maintaining party purity, or political pragmatism; it's about stressing thoughtful discussion, building consensus based upon substance, and ultimately, strengthening the Democratic Party. And I think, that's one of the best aspects of this wing, and distinguishes us from the Tea Party wing, where the media might try to portray us in some false equivalence viewpoint.
The current list of candidates are Tom Wolf, Allyson Schwartz, Rob McCord, and Katie McGinty.
Before you vote, I encourage you to read the comments in the previous diary. Additionally, I think some other informative posts are worth perusing:

Let's remember that no candidate is perfect, and once in office, will not keep all their campaign promises. Nevertheless, we can be pragmatic while still putting forward the best possible candidate, one that best exemplifies a Progressive candidate, and offers the best opportunities to uphold true Democratic values and policies.
Are you committed to building up Democrats? Prove it.
After you vote, feel free to mention in the comments why you voted that way.
Fri Apr 11, 2014 at 7:46 AM PT: After 24 hours, Tom Wolf wins with 43% of the vote for Progressive Ticket representative. Of course, reflecting Progressive values, this choice is always up for review, whether it is out of 30 votes, or 3000 votes. But for now, he is the pick. Thanks for making your voice heard! Let's keep working for More and Better Democrats.
