I've spent three days on the farm with the family and they have settled in a little.
The children are eating well and behaving much more like children.
The two babies seem to be the healthiest.
The four older children, aged 6 to 11, seem to be about two years behind in physical development.
The oldest girl, aged about 9 or 10, seems to have been effected by the psychological trauma she has been through and sometimes just sits and drifts off into a world of her own.
The 8-year-old girl might have a hearing problem but we're not sure yet.
The 11-year-old boy is very thin, his arms are incredibly thin, nothing like a healthy 11-year-old, essentially just bone and skin.
They are beginning to get used to there being a steady supply of water, it has taken a few days to convince them that there's enough water and they should take a shower every day.
I'll try to write more on Sunday or Monday.
And hopefully have some photographs from the farm again then too.
