Tonight voters in Connecticut, Minnesota, and Wisconsin hold their primaries. Our
guide to the key races can be found here. We'll be bringing you tonight's results as they come in, and you can keep track of all the winners just below:
Results & Poll Closing Times (all times Eastern):
6:30 PM PT: WI-06: 6.5 percent in and Grothman still up big. Here's an early good sign for him: Winnebago County, which none of the candidates represent, is breaking for him over Stroebel 42-35.
6:34 PM PT: MN-Gov: About 1 percent is in, and Hennepin County Jeff Johnson leads rich guy Scott Honour 36-25, with former state House Speaker Kurt Zellers at 24.
6:37 PM PT: WI-06: About 11 percent in and Grothman leads Stroebel 45-27. None of Stroebel or Leibham's base is in. However, Dodge County, which no one represents, is favoring Grothman 41-31. If he can keep winning in "neutral turf" he's in good shape.
6:39 PM PT: WI-06: Ozaukee County, which is represented by both Grothman and Stroebel (and is Stroebel's home county) is backing Grothman 52-32. He's so far romping in each county that's reported anything.
6:41 PM PT: MN-Gov: Three percent in and Johnson leads Zellers 36-26, with Honour at 22. A good sign for Johnson is he's winning large Hennepin County, where all three candidates are from, by double-digits.
6:44 PM PT: WI-AG: In the Democratic primary for attorney general, Susan Happ is currently up 55-26, with 6 percent in. In a very good sign for Happ, she's leading Ozanne 50-23 in vote rich Dane County, even though he's the district attorney there and it's far from her rural base.
6:54 PM PT: WI-06: 22 percent in and Grothman leads Stroebel 44-31, with Leibham at 22.
Grothman is being powered by his big lead in Fond du Lac, which he represents but only recently moved to (or carpetbagged to). However, he's doing well in Ozaukee, which both he and Stroebel represent, as well as Dodge and Winnebago which none of these candidates represent. Leibham's Sheboygan base is still out, but not looking great for the non-Grothman's.
7:05 PM PT: MN-Gov: Things are progressing slowly here. With a little more than 5 percent in, Johnson leads Honour and Zellers 34-25-25.
7:08 PM PT: WI-06: About 23 percent in and things are getting closer. Grothman leads Stroebel 41-29, with Leibham at 26. Manitowoc is coming in big for Leibham, with him taking 80 percent there. Leibham should also get a boost out of Sheboygan, where he's from.
7:11 PM PT: MN-Gov: We're now at 16 percent, and Johnson leads Zellers 33-25, with Honour at 24.
7:15 PM PT: MN-01: Here's a surprise: With 12 percent in, NRCC favorite Aaron Miller is losing to Jim Hagedorn, the son of a former congressman, 55-45. Democratic Rep. Tim Walz isn't high on anyone's target list but if the broke Hagedorn makes it through this one may not be on the big board much longer.
7:18 PM PT: Milwaukee Sheriff: Via the local Fox 6, we have a close race in the Democratic primary here. With 5 percent in, conservative incumbent David Clarke leads Chris Moews 52-48.
7:20 PM PT: MN-06: Only about 8 percent in, but Emmer is romping to victory 80-20.
7:29 PM PT (David Nir): The liveblog continues here.
