Most days I have a cold breakfast cereal consisting of a combination of Wheat Chex, Granolas and Chia Seeds.
Can't say that I have tried any of these. How about you?
One of my all time favs and apparently others as well - Cocoa Rice Krispies!
Another fav - The Cap'n's Peanut Butter Crunch. Joshblu has a theory about Cap'n Crunch cereals. The theory being that the cereal is so crunchy it cuts the inside your mouth so the sugar goes directly into your bloodstream. Instant sugar high making you want more. ;D
Another favorite is a scramebled egg with mayo and home grown 'maters on Sourdough Wheat Bread.
This is disturbing:
Dear Berkeley women: It’s time to lead the next revolution
This past spring, my youngest son finished his freshman year at Berkeley. Toward the end of the semester, he asked me to proofread his final anthropology paper. The professor had assigned a paper that required the students to conduct a mini ethnographic study of some aspect of college life. My son chose to examine fraternity parties.
snip:
Here is an excerpt that particularly disturbed me: “The first priority in planning a party is determining the theme of the party. When choosing the party theme, members of the fraternity often opt for a theme that will encourage sexual promiscuity. For example, a fraternity will choose a theme that forces women to dress promiscuously. In one instance I witnessed the theme, ‘Hunt or Be Hunted,’ in which men dressed as hunters and women dressed as animals to be hunted.”

Can you say organized sex predator packs?
Women must do their part to make a change.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign kicks off
The American Cancer Society kicked off its annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Montgomery campaign Tuesday with a goal of raising $60,000.
The annual Making Strides 5K will be Nov. 1, with a portion of the proceeds going toward Montgomery programs such as Look Good Feel Good, which offers wigs and makeup tutorials. There also are several research grants projects within the state that the money would benefit, said Lucy Sims, American Cancer Society of Montgomery spokeswoman.
Pink-themed fall ride to support breast cancer fight
BRANDON — Asking for a pony is not unheard of among the young, and Diana Galia is no exception. Only she never really asked for Glory, the horse that has been hers for more than half her life.
Glory, who is deaf by birth, came to the 26-year-old by circumstance, and in her splendor has helped in the universal fight against breast cancer.
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Glory will join with riders and their horses, painted and outfitted in pink, for the third annual Pink Your Pony Trail Ride, scheduled for Oct. 11 at Bay Lake Stables in Dover, at 4617 Garland Branch Road.
