Ok, don't answer that.
1990 - Joseph Hazelwood, the former skipper of the Exxon Valdez, went on trial in Anchorage, AK, on charges that stemmed from America's worst oil spill. Hazelwood was later acquitted of all the major charges and was convicted of a misdemeanor.
1999 - The U.S. Senate delivered subpoenas for Monica Lewinsky and two presidential advisers for private, videotaped testimony in the impeachment trial.
COINCIDENCE? I think NOT!
Amazing how consistent our legal system is, ain't it?
“I think most women do not want to be treated as sort of a special class of citizen. They want to go every day, they want to get paid for being a professional for doing their job really well, and they don’t want to be treated like some special group of people who have to be given a little special handout just to make sure they’re OK. . . .
"Women get paid exactly what they’re worth.”
Fake News Host Martha MacCallum
FROM THE CHURCH OF INEFFABLE STUPIDITY:
We have a grim congresscritter threatening a reporter simply for asking a journalistic question. (Considering how rare real journalism has become, one can almost understand this reaction.)
We have a Seinfeld Episode replaying itself and masquerading as the GOP's first response to the President. First responders never had so little to say in so much time. Only a brainless, greed-based, billionaire's pet boa constrictor like Business Insider could applaud this mindless, meaningless mishmash of mush from Cathy McMorris Rodgers.
We have a benign, tepid (Joan Walsh's reasonable observation) State of the Union talk, fallowed by what can only be called four State of the Onion orations.
After being missing in action for weeks, missing votes in Congress, missing campaign stops in Texas, Steve Stockman briefly reappeared for the beginning of the State of the Union, only to disappear half way through. Stockman did not seem to be concerned with his race against Jon Cornyn, although this latest disappearance is likely to bolster his credentials in Texas as being just what Texas deserves.
But what must rank as the top of the Congressional Whack-a-Mole has to include Tim Huelskamp (R-KS), whose fictional view of the whirled is astoundingly . . . something.
A close second must be the reported GOP leadership's response to Rand Paul's own PR move, giving a personal response to the president.

Fallowed? Whatever. Just looking at all the headlines, including that batshit crazy AFA, one can only wonder how far these idiot can go.
