Former Governor Ted Strickland (D. OH) is back to help Ed FitzGerlad (D. OH) takedown his former rival, Governor John Kasich (R. OH):
In 2010, John Kasich, his former Wall Street colleagues, and his wealthy friends spent more than $30 million on the governor’s race. They drowned the airwaves with negative attacks that wrongly linked me to the Great Recession.
Looking back, everyone knows that Wall Street caused that economic catastrophe – and the millions of jobs that were lost because of it. But Kasich had so much money he could afford to tell a different story.
We can’t let that happen again.
If each of us contributes a few dollars right now, my friend Ed will have the resources to fight back against the Kasich smear machine. I’m asking you to contribute to help Ed win in November. If it's $5, $15 or $20, every dollar goes a long way.

For those of us affected by John Kasich’s reckless agenda, we know that the November election itself isn’t our endgame.
Since 2011, Kasich has attacked firefighters and police officers, nurses and teachers, women and families. He’s cut taxes for the rich and gutted public services for the rest of us. He’s slashed food stamps for the hungry and stood quiet while long-term unemployment benefits expired.
As Kasich’s former opponent, I know first-hand that elections matter. As Ohioans enduring Governor Kasich’s harmful agenda, all of us know how much elections matter – and what consequences they bring.
Join me and make sure that this time, we get it right. Together, we need to elect Ed:
