We are all going to die. Seriously. I mean it. We all are. Eventually. There is a date, and it is probably near January 1, 1900 that nobody alive on that date is currently alive. In a little over 100 years that will be true about today. Some day in the future, a writer (if writing is still around) will be able to say that nobody who was alive on October 20, 2014 is alive today. Now chill.
ISIS Jihadis are not plotting with Mexican Illegal Valedictorians with Cantaloupe-sized Calves to sneak Ebola across our "porous" border that has had net zero crossing for the past few years. Troll alert, I said "net zero" please google the phrase before you post that I said "zero".
Doonesbury did a great strip a few years back about a terrorist following a soldier home from Iraq. It is absurd. If you are worried about ISIS, ask yourself if they don't already know where you are. I live in New York City. I was here when the guy parked the truck full of explosives in the World Trade Center garage. I was here when the planes struck the Towers. I'm still here.
Somebody may kill me tomorrow. I may succumb to my high blood pressure. I could get hit by a bus (alright, been there, done that). I may have an anyeurism. Why am I going to worry about things beyond my control? I'm alive. Some day that won't be true. Some day I may actually look at my passing as the end of terrible suffering. Republicans need to switch to decaf.
