Just want to point out that this is my 10 year kosiversary and my 400th diary.
Doing something for 10 years is a long time for me. longer than my first 2 marriages. I been writing SMHRB diaries since before the Great Change IV, about 7 years and I'm STILL working on my fracking house. (tomorrow will also be my 3d anniversary of writing mot diaries)
So OK folks, this is what the downstairs guest bath looks like now.
this is the one I chopped off the extension of. I wrote bout it in this diary, its about halfway down the list of pictures.
I chopped off the extension, where the vanity was because it was:
A) built stupid
B)looked stupid
C) was cold as hell
D) Did I say it looked stupid?
So that back wall is new and so will the vanity be that will sit in front of it.
I still have framing to do, will be sort of a coffered ceiling with crown molding. Your head's not on crooked, the ceiling's not level---it will be when I'm done
Some of the sheetrock is up now, you can see it on the left behind the door.. I put it in when the wall was open and it was in the way
Still have electrical to do, the plumbing is all done. The plumbing supply lines have been rerouted through the house now so they won't freeze.I had about 2 extra weeks of work making the plumbing right. now the plumbing is right in the upstairs bath too. I have to put new vinyl down up there---the bath you're looking at has tile. then a new vanity in the upstairs bath too
Then finish it all up.
Should be a breeze
So what are you working on?
