The past year was, as has been mentioned, very good for marriage equality. At the end of 2013,
18 states and the District of Columbia had equal marriage. At the end of 2014, that number had nearly doubled to 35 states and the District.
So as the year winds down, let's take a look at some of the happy faces across the states where equality moved forward in 2014. Check them out below the fold.
