First, I want to thank absolutely everyone who attended in some blistering cold weather. Some of our plans worked like clockwork, others, due to the weather, we had to postpone. That said, I wanted to jot together a quick diary today about the fact that Kansans gathered today in the state Capital to remind each other that this is a fight now over - and a fight worth having for the rights of our fellow citizens.
I've enclosed two videos here, and I encourage those who were there to post their pictures in the comments, I will add them to the diary as we go. I'm just finishing up some interviews with elected officials who were present, and I will try to edit them together for an article tomorrow, but I am thankful for their gift of time and resources in helping us get access to elected officials, media and those also interested in changing our state.
I have to commend everyone who came out, who shared their thoughts.
I find Rabbi Levin's comments (beginning at 22:00 in the first and continuing in the second) to be very effective.
I'll update as people add pictures. Much more information tomorrow!
6:37 PM PT:
Photos of us getting a quick moment with Rabbi Levin post his speech, who took time to talk to us and get some information to us. We thank him for his time!
