A rainy day here in K.C. Thought I'd share a few shots of our roses. I'm a sucker for water drops...
Wide shot of Rainbow Knockout Roses, fully opened.
******
Shot of the Rainbow Knockout to show the difference in color as they open. They start off a brighter pink and yellow center and then go to a lighter pink.
*****
A closer shot.
*****
Close up shot of a pink Knockout Rose opening.
*****
Same shot in black and white.

This is a Whiteout Rose. It's not considered a "real" Knockout rose but was developed by the guy who did the Knockout Roses. These start off as a yellowish/cream colored flower but turn white when fully opened.
******
This is a Drift Rose. Really beautiful on a sunny day, when more blooms are opened.
******
Closer shot of the Drift Rose.
******
Same shot, cropped down further.
******
This is a rose on the side of our driveway that was planted 40+ years ago.
******
And now from the right. lol
******
Side view.
******
And one of the blooms in black and white. There's just something about a rose in black and white, so I always have to do one or two shots.

This is a little Tea Rose that has come back from the brink of death many times, due to lack of proper weeding and the flowers being chomped off by deer.
