U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, who was a scandal-hound in the 1990s when Republicans were targeting President Bill Clinton,
tells Yahoo News about one of the key lessons he learned back in the day:
If you’re shooting a watermelon, you’re probably going too far.
That was a reference to former House Republican Oversight Committee Chairman Dan Burton of Indiana, who famously shot fruit in his backyard to prove that Bill and Hillary killed Vince Foster. So, Graham says:
I don’t think [Trey Gowdy’s] going to have a demonstration in his backyard about how Benghazi happened.
Gee. The GOP has come such a long way, right? Actually, not exactly:
