Well not only for me. But let me explain.....
I have a co-worker who has been being abused by his wife. I know that this has been going on for some time. He came in this morning with cuts on the side of his nose and under his eye (and almost a black eye), and a cut on his head.
His wife attacked him when he got home from work last night. As far as I can tell he is a nice guy. He has bent over backwards to please her since her father died last spring. But the attack last night came completely out of the blue. Our supervisor has given him a few days off to think about it. He is completely depressed, despondent. I gave him my personal number to call me any time day or night if he needs to talk, a place to stay or what ever. Another co-worker know where he will be for the next few nights. I think the Universe (or what ever deity you have) for the best outcome for he and his family.
Now as for me... Yep I need it for healing. Last Monday night I was wrestling my scooter out of the parking garage (late at night too). I twisted my knee some. I thought it was getting better until the weekend when it started buckling under me - especially going down stairs. Yesterday (Monday ) I went to see my doctor for a discussion about some resent blood work, and he examined my knee as it was really painful again.
Well it turns out, he thinks I have torn a ligament in my knee and possibly the mincus. So I have another appointment with an Ortho guy on Friday afternoon. My doctor taped my knee up to support my kneecap, and told me to wear a brace and use my crutches I got last year from a fall (where I chipped the other knee).
As for my work up, I can say that Antibiotics can be your friend when you need them. My antibodies to mycroplasm pneumonia peeked two months ago, but has come down some, my other viral load has come down, my total cholesterol is down to 179, my CRP is way down. So in that way i am doing much better (starting a Vegan diet - see The China Study) I have lost 17+ lbs since March.
