According to Civil Beat, the Hawai'i Supreme Court has rejected the ACLU's suit filed to stop certification of Hawaii's August 9 primary on grounds that voters were disenfranchised by Hurricane Iselle.
Civil Beat says:
According to the Thursday ruling, the high court said it did not have jurisdiction over the constitutional questions raised by the ACLU.
Comments by the ACLU don't indicate any plan to go to Federal court in order to cure the jurisdictional problem.
