I taught both of my sons to drive with an automatic. This summer I have been teaching them to drive a stick shift. The first ten times or so of them popping the clutch and the small car hopping was funny. Both have caught on pretty well. We have been using a rural area to drive in.
Driving a convertible helps both the teacher and the student.
Have you ever taught someone to drive? If so was it in an automatic or a stick shift? Did it make your nervous? ;D

Aloha from Hawaii! My family and I are here trying to make our way home as two Hurricanes are headed towards the islands.
Hurricane Iselle continues to churn menacingly from the east, weakening as it encounters Central Pacific wind shear and cooler waters but still is expected to be capable of unleashing flash flooding, tropical storm-force winds and ocean surge starting Thursday afternoon in Hawaii.
UPDATE: The cable has gown out. The internet may be next. People are rationing water, gas and foods for a seven day supply.
Should I go silent it is because I have lost my internet.
A few photos of one of the performances we have seen:
While grocery shopping in Waikiki we came across "Lemons Zebra". They are pink on the inside.
Outside the grocery store was this cutie. He was sad while waiting for his human.
What's for dinner?! :D
