Scott Brown is
clearly flailing in trying to make Obamacare repeal the centerpiece of his campaign. Why else would he shift gears and push out a new ad focusing on—the threat that ISIS poses to New Hampshire?
This is a seriously strange ad, with jerky, amateurish footage of a town hall audience where Brown is talking about the threats the nation is facing, accompanied by Sen. John McCain, all leading to the lame conclusion that Republicans must win the Senate back to lessen the threat of, well, something. Because the thing that matters most to New Hampshire is the Senate turning Republican so we can start bombing everybody McCain wants to bomb.
Brown might have had better luck convincing New Hampshire voters of his foreign policy expertise if he'd talked about all those "secret meetings with kings and queens and prime ministers" he had when he was the senator from Massachusetts.
